What we collect

When you submit a quote request, create an account, or place an order, we collect the information you provide directly, name, email address, phone number, shipping and billing addresses, and details about the equipment you need.

We also collect basic usage data automatically: the pages you visit, your browser type, and your IP address. We use this to understand how the site is being used and to fix problems.

How we use it

We use your information to:

• Process and fulfill your orders and RFQ requests
• Send order confirmations, shipping updates, and invoices
• Respond to questions and support requests
• Improve the site and our services

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

We share data only when necessary to operate the business:

• Supabase, our database and authentication provider (servers in the US)
• Shipping carriers (UPS, FedEx, USPS), your name and shipping address to fulfill shipments
• Payment processors, if you pay by card or ACH, payment details go directly to the processor and we never store card numbers

Cookies and storage

We use a small number of cookies: one to keep you logged in (an httpOnly session cookie) and one to remember items in your quote cart (stored in your browser's localStorage). We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising pixels.

Data retention

We keep order and account records for seven years for tax and accounting purposes. You can request deletion of your account at any time by emailing us, we will remove your personal profile and address records. Order records may be retained in anonymized form.

Your rights

You can access or update your profile and addresses from your account page at any time. To request a full export or deletion of your data, email us at sales@aumictech.com.

Security

Account passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. Our database uses row-level security so customer data is siloed by account. All traffic is encrypted in transit via TLS.

Changes

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the revised policy.
