Verification before listing:

  • Power on is verified. Other tests performed.
The Agilent 6269B is a 2000W programmable DC power supply in the 6260B series, capable of 0 to 40V and 0 to 50A output. It operates in both constant voltage and constant current modes and switches between them automatically as the load demands. OVP is adjustable and trips the output before your DUT sees a damaging overvoltage condition. Front panel controls handle voltage and current setpoints directly. The rear panel provides a remote sense terminal pair, which matters when you are pushing high current through long leads and need the supply to compensate for the voltage drop in the cables rather than at its own output terminals. There is also a remote programming interface for basic bench automation. Output is a single channel. No isolation between output and chassis ground in the standard configuration, so factor that into your test setup if floating the output matters for your application. The 6269B is a linear supply, not a switcher. That means lower output noise and ripple compared to switching supplies at the same power level, which is relevant if you are powering RF hardware, amplifiers, or anything sensitive to supply noise. This unit was verified at our Downingtown, PA facility before listing. Output voltage and current were tested across the range, OVP trip was confirmed, and CV/CC crossover operation was checked. Key Specs Output Voltage: 0 to 40V Output Current: 0 to 50A Power: 2000W Modes: CV / CC with auto-crossover OVP: Adjustable Remote Sense: Yes, rear panel terminals Programming: Analog remote programming via rear panel Supply Type: Linear Form Factor: Rack mount, 3U Does it include the output connector or sense leads? We ship what we have in stock with the unit. Contact us before ordering if you need specific output hardware and we will confirm what is included. Can the output float above chassis ground? Not in standard configuration. The negative output terminal is tied to chassis ground. If your test setup requires a floating output, check your wiring carefully before connecting any grounded load. Is this the same as the Keysight 6269B? Yes. Agilent became Keysight in 2014. The 6269B hardware is identical under both names. Manuals, calibration data, and service documentation are interchangeable.
