Brand new. With Windows 10.
The Advantech ARK-3500 is a fanless embedded box computer built around Intel's Core i7, i5, or i3 processors (3rd generation, Socket G2). No moving parts in the cooling system means it runs in dusty, vibration-heavy, or thermally inconsistent environments where a conventional PC would fail inside a year.

The wide-input DC power range (9 to 30V) makes it straightforward to run off vehicle power, solar systems, or industrial DC bus without adding a dedicated power converter. The dual Gigabit Ethernet ports with Intel NICs handle real workloads without the dropped packets you get from cheaper onboard LAN silicon.
Four software-selectable serial ports cover RS-232, RS-422, and RS-485, which is the main reason this unit shows up in industrial automation, machine vision, and data acquisition racks alongside legacy serial instruments and PLCs.
This unit was powered on and verified at our Downingtown, PA facility before listing.
Does it support Windows 10?
Yes, with the right drivers. Advantech provides a driver pack for Windows 10 on the ARK-3500. Linux runs without issue on most configurations. We can confirm what OS was last loaded on the unit before shipment.
Is it truly fanless?
Yes. The chassis itself acts as a heatsink. The aluminum extrusion body pulls heat off the processor passively. Rated to 60°C ambient, which covers most industrial enclosure environments without active cooling.
What storage options work?
One 2.5" SATA bay for a standard HDD or SSD, plus an mSATA slot for a secondary drive. Both are accessible via the bottom panel. mSATA is the cleaner choice for shock and vibration environments since there are no spinning platters.
Can it run headless?
Yes. VGA and DVI-I outputs are both present but neither is required. The ARK-3500 boots and runs without a display connected, which is standard for embedded deployment.
