The AQ6370E is Yokogawa’s current-generation AQ6370 - faster measurement, improved dynamic range, and a more capable touch interface. Even current-production instruments need repair: connectors wear, sweep motors degrade, and electronics age. Yokogawa’s own repair service is available but typically slow and expensive relative to the cost of the instrument. We offer faster turnaround at a flat-rate price.

The AQ6370E is a modern instrument, so most failures are physical rather than age-related. Input connector wear (FC/APC ports degrade from repeated mating), touchscreen non-responsiveness, and communication port failures (especially LAN after voltage transients) are the most common issues we see. Sweep motor issues and optical path contamination from dirty fiber connections also appear regularly. On units that have been in continuous production use, cooling fan failure can lead to thermal shutdowns.

We run the full diagnostic suite: DFB references at 1310 and 1550 nm, sweep speed verification, dynamic range, and communication port testing. All repairs are component-level. NIST-traceable calibration with cal cert completes the service.
