Ando AQ6315E optical spectrum analyzer repair
The AQ6315E is the later revision in Ando’s AQ6315 line - same 400 to 1750 nm broadband coverage with refinements to wavelength accuracy and dynamic range. It remained in active production use in photonics and semiconductor labs well into the 2000s. No OEM repair path exists today; Yokogawa’s service scope doesn’t cover this hardware.
The AQ6315E shares most failure modes with the AQ6315A and B. Grating motor wear causes sweep errors, stalls, or incorrect peak positioning. Display problems range from brightness degradation to complete CRT failure. Wavelength accuracy drift - units going outside the spec - usually points to the sweep encoder or monochromator alignment. Board-level failures on the analog signal chain cause sensitivity loss and noisy traces.
We run each unit through a complete diagnostic with calibrated sources across the full 400–1750 nm span. Component-level board repair, optical path cleaning, monochromator alignment, and NIST-traceable calibration complete the service. Cal cert included.
Flat-rate estimate: $100, applied toward repair. Turnaround 1–3 days. International shipping available. ACH, wire, credit card accepted.
